Mariam and Amanda were the victims of Likoni Ferry tragedy after their car slid into the Indian Ocean on September 29,2019. And word just reaching us indicate that the Kenya Ferry has compensated her family Ksh200,000 for the loss of their lives in the Likoni ferry accident.
It will be remembered that their remains were recovered 13 days later in the back seat of the car in a tight embrace.
The compensation which came from National Bank shows that the Ksh 200,000 compensation was shared between Mr John Wambua (The husband to Mariam) and Mr Peter Mwaghogho (The father to late Mariam).
Each received Ksh 100,000.
