Mel B has revealed that she wants Katy Perry to replace Victoria Beckham on the Spice Girls tour during an appearance on Thursday's episode of The Late Late Show With .

The Spice Up Your Life singer, 43, also used the CBS chat show to insist that the tour is '100 per cent' happening with or without the fashion mogul, 44.

During the appearance, her fellow guest, Olivia Munn, jokingly suggested that the girl group should have different celebrities replacing Victoria.

To which Mel said: 'Katy Perry would be good, wouldn't she.'

The America's Got Talent judge  also went on to reveal about the tour: '100 percent it's happening,' while she added that three other band members are 'for sure' joining her back on stage.

Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell are all set to return, but when asked on whether David Beckham's wife would be joining them, Mel B replied: 'Well, we'll see about that one.'

Mel revealed that the successful fashion designer might join the group on a few select shows.

If the girls finally do decide to fill arenas once more, it will be their first tour since their 2007 Viva Forever reunion.
