Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has always been a man of action. His work always speaks for itself and we are witnesses to it.
He has always been passionate when it comes to helping the needy, be it on the streets or somewhere else.
His family is big and his daughters have always made him proud. Saumu Mbuvi recently graduated from JKUAT, and her graduation party was the talk of town. The best part was when she flew in a helicopter. Cool, right? Well that’s Sonko for you.
Well, Sonko is yet a happy man as he is proud of yet another daughter who has just graduated from Moi University, Eldoret. But she is not his blood daughter as he revealed that he has another daughter other than the ones everyone knows about.
He went ahead on social media to reveal that he adopted Nelius Wangare when she was in class six after her father died.
In a long post, he narrated how proud he is of her daughter and how he became a guardian to her.
The post read, “Leadership is not only about politics but also being humane. Today, together with my family we attended the graduation of yet again our first adopted daughter NELIUS WANGARE from Dandora who graduated at Moi University Eldoret. We adopted Wangare when she was in class six. Her Dad passed on when she was a young girl. My advice to you fellow Kenyans, is that never give up in life no matter what background you come from just trust in God and all will be well. Please join me in thanking the Almighty God for seeing her through her university education. We shall be holding her graduation party this weekend and you are all welcome. Also join me in congratulating my daughter for this academic excellence. Cheers Wangare!!!!!”
