Miley Cyrus made her first major public appearance at the MTV VMAs after splitting up with husband, Liam Hemsworth.
She wore a short black dress as she performed her recent release, Slide Away a song she wrote in heartbreak after the breakup.
From her VMA performance, you could see all the emotions being released but she did not cry. Miley sang the whole song and sent the crowd to an emotional state.
She has had a rough couple of days after Liam Hemsworth announced the breakup of their not so old marriage.
In the song, she confesses to missing those good moments what she calls paradise.
Once upon a time it was paradise/Once upon a time I was paralyzed/I think I’m gonna miss these harbour lights/But it’s time to let it go.
