Yesterday, the hashtag Hennesy was trending after Sonko decided to add alcohol to the care package he was sending out as food relief to Kenyans.
According to Mike Sonko, alcohol helps kill any virus.
"We are giving some small bottles of Hennesy in the package which we give to our people. I think from the research which has been conducted by the world health organization (WHO) and various health organizations, It has been revealed that alcohol plays a very major role in killing the coronavirus or any sort of virus." Sonko said
This was all based on the research where people were advised to use sanitizers with a high percentage of alcohol up to 60%.
The package contained basic dry foods like rice, flour and cooking oil. He also ensured there was diapers for the families that have young children as is in the picture below:
