Harmonize and Diamond

Tanzanian artiste Harmonize is one of the fastest growing artistes in East Africa at the moment and is becoming a household name in his country.

The talented singer is signed to Diamond Platnumz’s music record label, WCB Wasafi in Dar es Salaam. He rose to fame with his single, Ayiola, which received positive feedback from fans and topped the charts on its debut.

The down to earth and soft spoken singer is also known for his song Bado featuring Diamond Platnumz and his recent track, Matatizo, which has garnered 3.3 Million views on YouTube and still counting.

Well, it looks like Harmonize is keenly following in his bosses footsteps and if he keeps up with the discipline he might end up replacing Diamond Platnumz with time, just saying.

He was among nominees contesting for the Best Newcomer Africa award category in the just concluded African Musik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2016, which were held in Dallas Texas on Saturday 15 October.

To the surprise of many, the singer bagged the award, beating the likes of Reekado Banks, Falz and Humblesmith all from Nigeria and Nathi from South Africa.

Harmonize was overjoyed at winning, a milestone he never thought he would attain at such a short time after joining the music industry. The up and coming singer shared a short video of the trophy, with caption that read; “Tanzania Mungu ni mwema siku zote 💪 (Tanzania, God is good all the time)”.
