Nicki Minaj says she wanted to punch Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Travis Scott ‘in his f***ing face’ in the wake of their beef over album sales last month.

The Barbie Tingz artist, 35, is a guest on Tuesday’s season premiere of Ellen. She makes clear she’s still irritated after the Houston rapper’s Astroworld album finished ahead of her latest release Queen on the Billboard 200, with the belief he pumped up his sales numbers by bundling the album with his fashion line and other items.

The Queens, New York native, whose full name is Onika Tanya Maraj, said that while she was not immediately ‘upset or angry’ when she put the rapper on blast on her Queen Radio show, as it’s a matter of ‘what’s right or what’s wrong.’

The Anaconda singer said, ‘I felt like I wanted to punch him’ when she could not crack the top spot on the chart in her first week of release. (She’s since been knocked to third place under both Astroworld and Ariana Grande’s new album Sweetener.)

The Grammy-nominated artist told Ellen she felt Scott was gaming the system with marketing behind Astroworld.

‘It’s just that when you have a number two album to someone who is selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that’s not even announced yet, it feels like you’re being tricked,’ Nicki told Ellen. ‘It feels like someone is playing a game and like beating you at a game opposed to just selling music.’

Minaj said she felt at a competitive disadvantage as an artist whose primary focus is ‘to sell music.’

She said that Scott ‘sold a lot of t-shirts and sweaters, and tour passes, and so we’re not going to have that!’

Nicki continued, ‘He didn’t have the number one album, Queen was the number one album and by the way, I lost out on 12 hours of sales in my first week because it was a secret album.’

The starlet said that she’s ‘the most grateful person in the world’ in acknowledging that the dialogue over album sales was a good problem to have.
