The all boy group is made up of rapper Mejja, known for his humorous Swahili lyrics, the multi-talented Madtraxx, and the cool kid on the band, Kid Kora, who are all aggressive when it comes to music.
The Kansoul have been ruling the airwaves with their smash hits and club bangers such as; Double Tap, Nyongwa, Drum, Moto Wa Kuotea Mbali, Tunakubali featuring Timmy T Dat, Mabega, Kanayudu and their recent track, Utamu Wa Life.
The group has a new song and Kiss FM presenters, Shaffie Weru and Adelle Onyango invited them to the studios to drop their new song plus to reveal the good news that they were recently nominated in the highly anticipated MTV African Music Awards (MAMA).
They revealed that they had been nominated in the Listener's Choice category award and are requesting their fans to vote for them, so they can bring the award home.
Well. their new song is dubbed No Woman No Party and I can assure you, this is a club banger to watch out for. The song basically talks about the importance of lasses when it comes to throwing a party.
According to The Kansoul; "A tune to celebrate the role of the young, confident woman in any party scene. You know no party is worth going to without the presence of females. Turn it up, enjoy the African sounds"
The music video is different from what they normally shoot, with a touch of class, a lot of sexy lasses, vintage cars, and an all-white party with a golden-themed style. This group never disappoints I tell you.
