The singer got hitched to her Danish Fiancé Henning Nielsen in a colourful wedding ceremony that took place in their home in Voi.
Once the photos of the singer's wedding made it to social media, many of her followers (or is it haters?) decided to comment on her make-up... which honestly was horrific. Of course the comments made by most tweeps were harsh.
Many of those involved however were more concerned to know who was responsible for Nyota's not so flawless make-up. Others asking if Nyota Ndogo did her own make-up.
Now get this, the make-up artist was not the one at fault, but the photographer.
According to Nyota Ndogo, the photographer did not have enough lighting thus messing up her make up. She revealed this through an interview with Standard - heads up.
"I saw the pictures and comments. It was quite hilarious. My photographer did not come with enough lighting equipment and I ended up looking darker,” the 'watu na viatu' crooner said.
And does the comments bother her? Not, really. “I’m glad that everyone is talking about me. Not only in Kenya, but the entire East Africa. A whole week of free publicity is amazing,”
