Kenyan rapper Octopizzo has for the first time spoken after he was accused of killing Strathmore University student Kenneth Abom.

Taking to social media, he thanked those who reached out to check up on him during the trying time.

He wrote,

"PATIENCE🕴🏻

Thanks to all my family, friends and fans who’ve constantly checked up on me during this trying week, Peace and Love ❤️ #Studio"

Kenneth Abom was an ICT student at Strathmore University, and a big fan of the rapper.

It was reported that Octopizzo supposedly beat up Kenneth Abom when he found him in his house last week on Friday.

A neighbour told

"The kid went home bleeding and locked himself in their bathroom, he started screaming and breaking stuff then jumped from the 4th floor of their apartment block."

Kenneth's father narrated that he had a cut across his face on top his eyebrow, an indication that he was hit with a blunt object repeatedly.

"Kenneth had a cut on his face," he angrily said, "He (Octopizzo) took a blunt object there, which was used to hit him."

Kenneth fell from the fourth floor of their apartment and was rushed to the hospital but sadly he passed away on Saturday.
