Pierra Makena was one of the best presenters on Let’s Talk, but just like everything, her time at the show has come to an end.
Pierra has left the show to venture into greater things. She stated that sometimes happiness needs to be a priority and one should take necessary steps to achieve that. Could she have been unhappy while working for the TV station?
“After long consultations..prayers and thinking..I’m sad to announce that I have decided I will no longer be on the “lets talk show” and neither will I be working with the station. Sometimes in life you feel that your happiness needs to be a priority and you take necessary steps to achieve that.. I’d like to promote and build people the best way I can. I fully support the next able team that will be taking over and I do believe this show will still be the best. I consider myself very fortunate for having a chance to work with @ellainspired @brendawairimu_ @moniqueangelynbett . Working with you was so much fun!! I really value the knowledge and insight you have. And to all my fans thank you for the Love and support.. I have some exciting news for you….just keep it here …will say soon. Lots of love😍😍 #BEYOU,” she announced.
Well, all in all she’s moving on to do other things and we wish her nothing but the best.
Pierra is not the only one who has left TV to venture into other projects.
Here are other celebrities who have followed the same steps;
She shocked everyone when she announced her exit from Citizen TV on live TV. She stated that she’s moving on to do solo projects and she was greatful for the experience in general.
Michelle left TV a few years ago to do what she loves the most, travel and see what this world has to offer. She also has a blog. But she’s back to our screens like she never left.
We were all pretty shocked when it was announced Terryanne had been retrenched from Citizen TV. This was not expected as she’s among the best news anchors in the country. Kirigo Ngarua was also retrenched at the same time as Terryanne. Terry is the founder of Keyara Organics.
Kamene was an Ebru TV news anchor, but after a few years, she decided to quit to venture into other projects.
“I quit two weeks ago. I left, heading to greener pastures, I just felt like Ebru wasn’t the Ebru that i fell in love with, it was a career and at the same time, it was becoming a bit difficult working there,” she said in a past interview.
Tero Mdee went missing from the public scene and it raised questions as to why she would leave such a good job as a presenter at KTN. It was later on revealed that she had moved back to Tanzania and got married to a pastor. She’s now also a preacher and an artiste.
