Legendary Kikuyu Benga artiste John De Mathew died in a tragic accident along Thika Road in the Blue Post area. Before he met his untimely death the artiste who is arguably one of the most hardworking artistes in the Kikuyu Benga scene was from a fundraiser for a fellow Kikuyu artiste in Kitengela.
