Rob Kardashian has been battling with his weight for years. But lately he has been teasing on Instagram that he no longer looks as heavy as he once did.

He shared an old photo of himself in early May along with the caption: 'Lol I've changed a lot, definitely don't look like this anymore.'

However, according to People Monday, the reality star is still struggling to keep the weight off despite his social media posts.

Rob, 31, shared a pic of himself holding one-year-old daughter Dream in March and he definitely looked slimmer.

But he hasn't been pictured out in public more recently.

'He can’t seem to get healthy even though he says he wants to be,' People's insider claimed. 'He’s constantly up and down.'

While he did shed pounds following his breakup with former fiancée and baby mama Chyna last year, he continues to lapse back into his old ways when under stress, the publication reported.

'Things were looking good for him. But then drama comes into his life or he goes through tough times and he gives up,' the source said.

Rob, the only son of Keeping Up With The Kardashians momager Kris Jenner, retreated from his family's reality show after gaining a lot of weight.

And last month, his brother-in-law Kanye West, who is married to his sister Kim, revealed he'd had liposuction because he didn't want to be called fat like Rob.

Rob’s weight began to spiral out of control in 2015 when he gained 100 pounds in a year due to binging on junk food.

He has also struggled with depression and in December 2015 was diagnosed with diabetes after being hospitalized.

However, becoming a father has provided motivation for him to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
