Sauti Sol has always been a favorite. The boy band, comprising four lads, always know how to deliver when it comes to music. They have worked their way to the top and it's clear for all to see that there's no turning back.

The 'Sura Yako' hitmakers have done collabos with several chart-toppers like Yemi Alade, 2Baba, Amos and Josh, Mi Casa, Alikiba, Willy Paul, and Aaron Rimbui among others.

They are now doing their 'Live and Die in Afrika' world tour and are currently in Morocco.

This time round, Sauti Sol is in yet another project. The Afro Pop band is working on a song with Mugithi legend Mike Rua.

Speaking exclusively to, Rua said their management teams have already met and discussed it. They have already developed the concept for the track which fans should expect soon.

“I wanted it to be a surprise,” Mike Rua spoke to Tuko while at It’s Big launch in Nyayo Stadium Sunday.

“But since you have squeezed the story out of me, we are working on a collabo. We hope to merge the two genres. We want urban and Mugithi to mash.”

We all know Sauti Sol is an afro pop band, so one is bound to wonder how they'll blend in with Mugithi. But we might be surprised. Let's wait and see.
