On the drive show with Mwalimu Rachel and Xclusive, they tackled the story of how President Ruto romantically held his wife’s hand while they were in the US.

“Last week the President was in America with his wife okay and everyone was singing of how the President was holding his wife’s hand,” Xclusive said.

According to Mwalimu Rachel holding hands is the bare minimum a man can do so it should not be seen as a big deal since it is not.

“The bare minimum is what we are saying is so romantic, kumshika mkono. How bad is it that holding your spouse’s hand is seen to be super dupa romantic,” Mwalimu Rachel said.

Xclusive went on and said if your partner has reached the level of going to America, you should be extra cautious since they might change their mind and decide to completely live in America.

“Unajua kama umeona mtu wako anaeza fika America na amue hataki kurudi, is the same way us as men hold hands with women at the mall, it is not because we want to hold hands in the mall, it’s because we know if we let go of your hand utaingia kwa hii shop utake kununua vitu,” Xclusive said.

“When you see the President ameshikilia bibi yake the whole time alikuwa America hakumwachilia mkono, alikuwa anajua angeachilia and you know Kenyan women wakienda America venye wanakuanga, most of them disappear.”

According to Xclusive hand holding in America among Kenyan couples is not romance rather it is a tactic of preventing the woman from disappearing.
