T.I. paid a $300 fine for disorderly conduct on Thursday.

The famous rapper, 38, appeared in person in the Henry County, GA courtroom where he pled no contest from an arrest in May, according to .

T.I. - real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. - was originally brought in for assault, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he cursed at a security guard for 'not letting him enter a gated community'.

According to local reports, the rapper was trying to get to his house Wednesday morning of May 16 but didn't have his key.

T.I. and a friend argued with the guard at the security shack, who wouldn't let them enter his own gated neighborhood.

According to T.I., his wife Tiny confirmed their family residence to the guard to no avail.

T.I.'s attorney, Steve Sadow, said:  'It took Tip some time to wake up the sleeping guard. Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry.

The guard refused entry. Tip was in contact with Tiny by phone and Tiny confirmed that Tip should be let in immediately. The guard continued to refuse entry without justification.'

He was eventually let in but 'then returned on foot shortly afterward to confront the guy again. That's when cops were called to the scene, and ended up arresting him.'

Sadow said the officers had no interest in 'hearing Tip's side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting Tip.'
