NTV news anchor Doreen Majala has exclusively told KISS 100 today (Christmas Day) will be her last day anchoring on the Swahili segment, NTV Jioni.
She joined the Nation family last year in June and as 2019 comes to a a close, so does her time at the Nation Media Group family.
Mid this year, there was widespread speculation that she would be leaving her job, when she announced plans to further her education. When asked if that will be a step for her to leave NTV, Doreen responded with a strong no as her answer.
‘Pursuing education doesn’t mean I want to leave NTV, I still have a lot to do in this space and thus I am staying put. Let’s cross the bridge when we get there.’ Doreen said.
Today she has crossed that bridge. She exclusively told KISS FM today is her last day saying,
Today is my last day at NTV Reading tonight’s 7pm bulletin and i bid good bye on air.
