Has Travis Scott stolen some ideas from Ariana Grande’s song?

After first announcing it was in the works in April 2016, he finally released his well awaited album Astroworld over the weekend.

And Monday saw Travis Scott debut the first music video, Stop Trying To Be God, which featured scenes from his girlfriend and baby mama Kylie Jenner.

The 4 minute 30 clip centered around goats, however, fans were quick to spot various other similarities between the 26-year-old’s latest video and Ariana Grande’s God Is A Woman – both of which used the same director Dave Meyers.

The clip began with Travis herding along a flock of sheep down a street.

According to the Bible Studies Tools, the animals bare the biblical reference of symbolizing ‘God’s people’.

As the hitmaker progresses to walk through large burning flames, he’s met on the other side with an artistically radiant Kylie.

The makeup mogul appeared to be wearing a nude catsuit for the shot, videoed with her blonde locks tied back and hugging Travis.

After more smoke and fire continues to burn, Kylie is again seen at the end of the clip while Stevie Wonder played the harmonica.

Stunning a sequenced skin tight frock, similar to the one she wore to the MET Gala in 2017, the beauty is seen stroking a lamb.

But it wasn’t just the similar song titles between Travis’ Stop Trying To Be God and Ariana Grande’s God Is A Woman that fans noticed – there were various similarities in the clips as well.

Both directed by the well known Dave Meyers, the two both shared similar visuals, with the rapper even following in the pop princess’ footsteps with an upside down visual from her No Tears Left To Cry video.

Another scene saw the father to Stormi Webster appear as a leader to an array of followers dressed in white shirts and black pants.

Similarly, Ariana’s clip saw her stun in blue while her females were seen wearing white singlet tops.

But despite the similarities, one fan was Travis and Kylie’s six-month-old daughter Stormi.

‘Come home my baby ready to rock and roll!!!’ he captioned a sweet monochrome shot of the bub in a onesie with his album title Astro World on the front.
