Afew weeks back, Victor Kinuthia was last in the headlines when he was asked to step in at short notice to do a news briefing about the arrest of an MP by the name of Ndindi Nyoro.
He spoke bad English and Kenyans decided to drag him. They mocked his accent and his heavy mother tongue interference in the way he spoke. Victor Kinuthia however, took it all in stride and other celebrities came out in his defence.
You see, the reporter is well versed in his particular line of reportage: Kikuyu dialect news. So it is alittle like asking a saltwater fish to swim in freshwater...
