The two had been posting raunchy videos and pictures on social media but when she was in trouble with the Tanzanian government, they slowed down.
Neither Timmy nor Rosa has openly spoken about whether their relationship is platonic or a sexual relationship but recently in an interview with Wasafi FM, the Kasabuni hitmaker had something to say.
He responded saying that they have never dated,
"Rosa Rae and I have never been in a relationship. Even in the famous song, Vitamin U, we were not trying to clout chase, we were just being creative. Being seen together with Rosa was just clout chasing. I spoke to my girlfriend before we did the video." Timmy said
The video got him in so much trouble, he was forced to pull it down from YouTube and post an edited version because people said that was a form of an adult movie. In that interview, Timmy T Dat apologized to his Tanzanian fans saying,
I really want to apologize to my Tanzanian fans. Those who were irritated by the Vitamin U video. It's from the Bottom most of my heart yaani the highest point of my spirit I apologize to my people. I don't want to sit down and think we are being creative yet it is not In line with my fans.
He was so sorry on behalf of both the artistes saying that they will never repeat that mistake again.
"I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Rosa Ree and her management to apologize for what happened. I am the man and I should have taken responsibility early enough. But hey, it already happened so instead of repeating that mistake, we learned from it and be sure it will never happen again because we are the reflection of our society." Timmy T Dat added
The two are still working together to create good music because they are an amazing duo when it comes to music.
