Harmonize crying
Never in his wildest dreams did Wasafi's top act Harmonize think he would be at the object of fans wrath.

On Saturday night, the star was slated to perform in Eldoret, but it did not happen.

Hours before this nasty turn of events, Harmonize was received by adoring fans who wanted to be in his presence.

But that adoration was fickle at best, because, when he failed to show up on stage, the fans turned on him.

It is not yet clear what transpired to prevent the bongo star from performing that night at the Eldoret Sports Club Grounds.

The CEO of Shado Event Initiative Douglas Obobe Maini reportedly told sections of the press that "things were smooth" until the wee hours of Sunday morning.

"At 2 AM WHEN MORE THAN 5,000 FANS ATTENDING THE EVENT STARTED DEMANDING FOR HARMONIZE TO PERFORM."

Pundits claim that the promoter had not paid Harmonize at the time and as such he refused to set foot on stage.

Harmonize took to his social media and explained:

"NEXT TIME NITAHAKIKISHA TUMELIPWA DOO YOTE KABLA NI COME TRUST ME I’M SO….!!! DISAPPOINTED AND I LOVE YOU ❤ AND I WAS EXTRA READY 👹👹 I DID #SOUNDCHECK AND EVERYTHING THIS IS TO BAD ….!!!! 👹."

Harmonize added:

"BINAFSI NAJUA KIASI GANI PESA INATAFUTWA KWA UGUMU BUT KWA MAPENZI YENU MLIJITOA KUJA KUNI SUPPORT SIO KWASABABU MIE NI SPECIAL SANA….!!! NISEME SAMAHANI #ELDORET 🙏🙏"

Police added, that they have the promoter in custody owing to the damage metted out by the angry mob.

"MY OFFICERS DISPELLED THE ANGRY CROWDS WHO DESTROYED TENTS, PLASTIC CHAIRS AND LATER ON, BLOCKED THE ELDORET-KAPSABET ROAD AS THEY BURNT TYRES,"Eldoret South Police boss Wilson Abduba said.

The drama continued on Sunday when Harmonize was barred from leaving his hotel room.  Together with his entourage, the Kwangaru hitmaker were staying at the Starbucks Hotel.

It took the intervention of the singer’s Kenyan friends to bail him out, a source revealed.
