Pastor James Nganga of Neno Evangelism was not happy when Citizen TV's Linus Kaikai called out the "Church leaders" and "prophets".

In a dress down that went viral, Linus went a head to call them "cold blooded evangelical vampires", "gluttons" and "financial swindlers".

Pastor Nganga was not impressed.

"As a news anchor, why are you saying that? Are all your brother's educated? Has everyone in your village gotten top notch education?" fired off the offended man of God.

Later in the video, Pastor Nganga threatened unexplained “consequences” believed to be directed at Linus.

The TV anchor did not take it lightly. Linus complained he felt threatened following video footage that the pastor produced attacking him.

On Sunday night, the pastor was arrested for threatening the Citizen TV journalist. He was picked up from his church at the junction of Haile Sellasie Avenue and Uhuru Highway and locked up at Muthaiga Police Station.

Police said Nganga will be arraigned in court later on Monday.
