A long time ago, I wanted to become a musician. I cannot sing but then again neither can 80% of pop musicians so that was not a deterrent. And now as I sit here writing about how Wizkid raked in millions to perform at a private party for New Years Eve, I am mucho envious.
Wizkid who 3 years ago used to charge 6 million Kshs has reportedly more than doubled that fee so you can imagine that he made well over 12 million shillings as he performed what seemed more like a karaoke performance than a concert performance as he sang his most popular songs for an intimate crowd.
Wizkid danced with the guests and the host and even invited them to perform his own songs for him as you can see below:
