They say that a person’s true colors are best known by his inner circle and Nigerian superstar Shaydee has been close to Wizkid for many years.
In an exclusive interview with Kiss FM, Shaydee revealed some intimate details about who the true Wiz Kid is.
The two created a strong bond while they were signed under Empire Mates Entertainment EME and Shaydee even slept on Wizkid’s couch when things were tough.
“I think people are gradually getting to know Wizkid more but I think one thing people might not know about wiz is that he notices everything lol; he pays attention a lot more than people think.”
The pair have known each other for years now and have even collaborated on the club smash hit Make Sense that cemented them as Nija Music royalty.
The single was released under Shaydee's new label, 506 music that signed him in 2017. With a massive social media following and a string of smash hits, Shaydee is a major force to reckon with in the African music scene.
He has also collaborated with the likes of Ice Prince, Seyi Shay, Legendary Beatz and Skales just to name a few.
“I started singing way back in secondary school for fun and all but I started taking it serious around 2010,” he says. “I met my producer, Spellz, when he was in the university that my Dad was lecturing at and that’s how we kicked it off & started working And learning together in the business.
