Akothee was taken ill a couple of days back. This was after she collapsed during a performance. And while her daughters were sick with worry for their stubborn mothers, Akothee was stubborn about taking some much-needed RnR.
Akothee collapsed in stage a second time and it would be hard to imagine her daughters calling a family intervention for their mother.
And so it was that Akothee decided to take some much-needed rest.
Zari, on the other hand, has felt an itch to travel so she left her abode in South Africa and she has now flown 1st class in KQ to Kenya to visit her friend. It is really nice to see these two war weary lionesses, single mothers of 5, enjoy each other's company as Zari consoles her friend Akothee.
