Private or public proposal? Kamene and Obinna engage fans
The radio hosts were recapping the embarrassing marriage proposals witnessed late last year
During today's show, Kamene and Obinna reflected on all the marriage proposals that happened late last year to all this year.
The yays and the nays that turned embarrassing.
Recapping the year the Kiss FM hosts wanted to know if their listeners were pro-public proposals or if they'd rather have them done privately away from the public eye and the pressure for an answer/ embarrassment if the partner turns them down.
"People had decided that late last year was the time for love. Actually, it has poured to this year.
It seems during this period everyone is in pursuit of love and it came with a share of its proposals." Started off Kamene Goro.
She went on to touch on the proposals making it known that she is on the private corner when it comes to the subject.
"I've said this time and time again, I don't know why guys keep on carrying it this way.
So we saw the guy who went on one knee at a fast food joint and there is the other guy who proposed pale archives and was turned down..." Kamene started, but before she could finish her co-host Obinna interrupted her.
"But ata wewe how do you propose at pahali pa pizza kweli? Propose pahali kuna chicken tikka at least. Or hapo Archives Tom Mboya akikuangalia tu like uko serious bro?" Obinna quipped highlighting that the venue is as important as the proposal.
"Interestingly enough all the proposals I have seen are in front of people. Like why are you all doing that? You're putting pressure on people for no reason. I feel like private is better, it's the way to go.
Like personally, my proposal was just me, him and two of our friends" Kamene advised.
Obinna however wasn't having it, he however insisted that public proposals should be for confident people who are sure of their relationships.
"Before proposing in public be very sure that you're the one and have confidence in your person Also take rejection like a man, akisema no stop begging." Obinna advised.
The two went ahead to ask their listeners to share with them their thoughts on this.
