Socialite turned brand influencer and night club host Amber Ray has warmed hearts after sharing an adorable video of her and her son Gavin enjoying some quality time together as they vibed to Kenyan oldies.
In the video, shared on her Instagram page, Amber who was dressed in a body hugging purple maxi dress could be seen preparing ugali as she enjoyed a glass of wine while dancing around the kitchen.
Her son on the other hand was in a casual yellow polo short and sweatpants enjoying a bowl of chocolate cereal as he hyped his mom up while trying to mumble the lyrics to 'Githurai' by veteran artists Mr. Googz, Vinnie Banton and Mr. Lenny.
Amber defended their mumbling by stating, "it is just that we don't know how to rap but we know the song! We know the lyrics from way back then,"
Echoing his mother's statement Gavin chirped in saying, "yeah, tell them! Tell them," before humorously adding how he enjoyed hanging with his "short sister" (referring to his mom since he's now taller than her) which led to Amber bursting out in laughter and shock.
Captioning the video she wrote, "Catching up with my first born @gavinclassic my First true love,"
