Fans react to Diamond Platnumz getting a pet snake

Netizens have been thrown into a frenzy after Tanzania's bongo star Diamond Platinumz took to his socials to announce that he'd gotten a pet snake.

The "Salome" hitmaker shared a video of him out in the streets playing with a snake which he described as his new friend adding that he's always wanted to have a snake.

"Have been always excited to have my own snake as a pet.... guys meet my new Friend #Chichi," Diamond captioned his Instagram post.

Shortly afterward his sister Esma said she was surprised that her brother can boldly play with a snake yet he is afraid of their home dogs.

"AJABU NI KWAMBA NYOKA HAUMUOGOPI MBWA NA PAKA NDIO UNAOGOPA @officialzuchu YULE PAKA WETU TUMLETE NA SIE.(Surprised that you don't fear a snake yet you are afraid of dogs and cats.)" Esma commented on her brother's post.

Taking to his comment section fans speculated that he was either shooting a music video or he'd unfortunately joined the Illuminati.
