Oscar-winning actor, TV host, producer, and screenwriter Jamie Foxx is still in hospital 3 weeks after he suffered a medical emergency that saw him drop from a project he was working on.

Jamie was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency while filming a new Netflix movie dubbed "Back in Action" in Atlanta, Georgia alongside fellow famed actresses Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz, shortly before he had to go missing in action from the set.

His family is now asking friends and fans to say prayers for the film producer who has remained bedridden since then.

According to TMZ reports they have had a chance to speak to a few of Jamie's family members and those closest to him say he needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster.

However, no one has opened up or hinted as to what might have the superstar down so bad. His exact condition remains a secret tightly guarded by his family.

But sources close to Jamie are all echoing the same plea "Pray for Jamie."

Jamie is one of the most prolific players in Hollywood, and his condition has sent studios scrambling. For one he's been the host of the hugely popular "Beat Shazam" music lyric game show on FOX, which was going into production just days after he was hospitalized.

Following his ailment, Jamie will not be on this season of "Beat Shazam." Filming starts today, with a new host. Jamie's daughter Corinne, who DJs on the show, will not be on as well as she's been a fixture at the hospital in Atlanta by her dad's side.

According to multiple reports, the actor was hospitalized due to an unnamed medical condition that saw him bedridden.

His daughter Corinne Foxx addressed the public a few days later giving some insight into her father's health.

Without giving a lot of details she shared on her official Instagram page that her father had experienced a “Medical complication,” adding that he is “On his way to recovery.”

She, however, didn't give any additional information as to what had the veteran actor hospitalized. Corinne just maintained that her father was receiving "great care" and is now on the mend.

The 29-year-old went on to ask netizens to respect their privacy during this time all while thanking the public for their prayers and good wishes.

"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time." Part of her Instagram post read.
