Young M.A has revealed that she has been dealing with health issues for quite some time and was recently hospitalized.
This comes after a video of her haircut went viral, disclosing her with yellow sunken eyes as her body appeared to have shed a substantial amount of weight.
"As many of my supporters know I’ve been dealing with various personal health issues for the last few years. I recently was hospitalized and was successfully treated for several conditions."
The rapper also says that she is on the road to recovery and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her.
"I’m doing better now, will take some time but I’m on the road to recovery and look forward to the future."
Though she did not state what she was suffering from, Young M.A promised to explain everything in a documentary and her music which is yet to be released.
"I’m in good spirits and everything will be explained in the MUSIC! Plus documentary. Love y’all MAB!Don’t worry I’m good! Bless Up."
Her fans, on the other hand, have come out to criticize the barber, Fatsdarber, who is also a Wild N Out cast member for posting the video on his Instagram stories.
In response, the barber stated that the rapper gave him permission to film the video and that people should respect their friendship bond.
"Y’all got so much to say as if I’m trying to embarrass my dawg. If she didn’t want me to record, she would’ve told me. Y’all don’t know our bond nor our friendship."
The celebrity barber urged people to continue praying for her because it was Young M.A's first haircut in a month and she wanted him to bring back to life her signature haircut.
"What y’all need to do is just send your prayers for her and that’s that she didn’t have a haircut in a month, and she wanted me to bring her haircut back to life, which I did. Thank you for coming, [Young M.A], and rocking with me like always. Love ya.”
