Indian multi-award winning actress, singer and film producer Priyanka Chopra is opening up on the overwhelming struggles of motherhood.

The 41 year old new mom who shares a 1 year old daughter with celebrated American actor and musician Nick Jonas revealed how as a mom she is always in constant worry of all the mistakes she might do as a mom.

“I think when you put them to bed, it’s extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make,” the actress candidly said during an interview with  People Magazine.

On how she deals with this the Quantico star noted that she has learned how to check herself and learn to check in with her family as well because it is a scary journey.

“But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family," added the model.

Priyanka noted that even though the journey has been full of “scary” moments it still has its super rewarding moments.

“It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary,” Priyanka said.

She went on to add that watching her daughter grow reassures her that she is doing a good job as a mother.

“I look at [my daughter’s] smile, and I’m like, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing good so far,” the celebrated actress said.

On how she has changed since welcoming her little bundle of joy the 41 year old model noted that motherhood has brought out a softer side of herself that she did not even know she had.

“It’s made me a tad more sensitive and fragile, I think, and it makes me nervous a little bit. I didn’t expect that,” she shared.

Priyanka Chopra and her 31-year-old husband Nick Jonas welcomed their baby girl Malti via surrogate back in January 15th, 2022.
