Digital content creator Eve Mungai is recounting the losses she suffered after her Airbnb situated in the plush neighbourhood of Kilimani was robbed.

Sharing a detailed account of the recent robbery incident the YouTuber maintained contrary to popular belief the house that was robbed isn't her residence but just one among the many rentals she and her boyfriend Director Trevor run.

"I'm here to clarify a few things and show you guys the house, how it looks like right now because it is a beautiful place.

For starters, people thought that we were robbed at the place, where we live but that was not the case. We were robbed in one of the apartments that we run as an Airbnb," stated the 23-year-old.

She went on to recount in a detailed report how the robbery occurred while also revealing that the said guests stole valuables worth Sh200,000.

"I remember it was on a Wednesday.. how the whole thing happened, so I have an agent I work with, they have been giving me clients from even before. So they called me and said there is a client who wanted the place for a night then the following day they head off to the airport.

I always don't accept guys for one night but since I knew the agent and the cleaners were coming the following day, I allowed them. That Wednesday night they came with the suitcases and packed off," Mungai Eve narrated.

Eve recalled how she sent cleaners to get the place organized as they were preparing for other guests but much to the cleaners dismay she was met by a semi empty and trashed house.

"Thursday morning I sent my cleaner, then I received a call from an agent who is a friend asking what happened in the house. He was like, 'kwani ni kina nani walikuwa hapa?' I asked him to send me the video and he sent me a video of the house and I was so shocked.

In my entire life I have never been that shattered! This house was my very first project. We came to see the house, it was a mess, they stole the carpet, curtains, decor and other valuables worth Sh200,000.

We reported it to the police and we are hoping to get them," sadly recounted the content creator.

On November 10, Mungai posted CCTV footage they had received of two individuals (male and female) leaving her apartment with huge briefcases where she revealed that the two had robbed her place.
