Three-time GRAMMY award-winning reggae artist Gramps Morgan moved Kenyans during his performance during the biggest live concert, Kenya Ni Yetu Live.
The concert left many feeling hopeful despite this time of uncertainty brought about by the pandemic.
Gramps performed 'People like you' that was originally written by Johnny Reid. According to Halo, he heard the song for the first time during the recording session for the track, after the pair met by chance encounter and struck up a musical relationship.
Gramps Morgan chose to perform this song during the Kenya Ni Yetu Live concert because he felt compelled to comfort not only Kenyans but the world in these tough times.
“We are living in difficult times. In times like these people need comfort and need to feel appreciate. We all need to stick together. I'm doing my part” He says
