Betty Kyallo has been a hustler ever since. She owns one of the most sought after salons.
In a recent interview on Convo for the segments, 'Make Sense with Cents', the mother of one revealed her first side hustle.
“I started this entrepreneur thing when I was young. My job was selling cheap jewelry from Dubois Road in high school and university. My girls and I would go to Dubois Road and buy necklaces, earrings and stuff and then we would bring them back to school and sell them and make some profit margin. Kidogo tu,” Betty shared.
Adding that she also owned a landscaping business called 'Blissful Gardens'. She had employed one person who later left for a better-paying job and the business collapsed.
"It was just me and a guy who had a panga. Just a team of two. We got jobs from around the community and then he left me and I didn't know how to continue coz he was my landscaping guy."
Betty Kyallo also opened up on her first salary. She used to earn like 2k but in her internship, she used to earn 5k. And that time she never used to save.
