Hevy J Baba has been nominated for two awards in the inaugural 2020 Africa Digital Influencer Awards (ADIA).
The celebrated presenter and digital influencer has been nominated under 'Disruptor/change maker of the year' and 'Influencer of the year' categories.
Under the disruptor of the year, Jalas will be going against comedians; Eric Omondi and Flaqo as well as Tiktok queen Azziad.
Under the influencer of the year, he will be battling it out with Elsa Majimbo, Crazy Kennar, Wawira Njiru, Humphrey Kayange and Francis Amonde.
Created by Africa Digital Leadership, the awards seek to celebrate digital excellence in Africa.
These prestigious nominations came just days after the father of two was listed among 99 other most influential Kenyans.
Reacting to the news, he said;
“This has been one of those years that I came out strong from a lot of negativity, bad press and after I put myself there going for what I want and where I want to be. I am happy.
Heavy J from the shores he has been ranked as one of the most influential Kenyans.
