Nicah The Queen, ex wife to comedian Dr Ofweneke has narrated how he proposed the first time they met at a restaurant where she had gone to promote her song.
According to her story, he indirectly proposed to Nicah by ‘pretending’ to appreciate her song.
“I had just done a collabo with Mr Tee, ‘Yes, I do’, and we were promoting it. Ofweneke saw me there, appreciated my work and jokingly told me that, ‘hiyo wimbo umefanya ya harusi, mimi na wewe tutafanya harusi. Mark your calendar.’ Nicah told Massawe
Ofweneke is not with Nicah anymore, and is happily to Christine, the mother of his third daughter Eisley and this time he says he is happy.
Breaking up with Nicah was mutual as he said he was trying to give what he did not have, happiness.
“What I learned about marriage and relationships is that you cannot give what you do not have. Find happiness within yourself in order to give happiness. the other lesson was that it is never that serious. If things cannot work out even after 20 years, they cannot work out. just leave.” Ofweneke once said
They may not be together but they are very present in their children's lives and they are happy and in love elsewhere.
