Education CS Ezekiel Machogu

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has officially released the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

Speaking at Mtihani House in Nairobi, CS Machogu announced that the top KCPE candidate scored 431 marks out of the possible 500 marks.

The CS mentioned that a total of 1,237, 852 candidates sat for the 2022 KCPE examination and they will all transition to Form one in January next year.

 The two candidates who scored 431 marks are Otieno Lewis Omondi from St Peter's Mumias Boys Primary School and Fwaro Makokha Robinson from Christ the King Academy, Bungoma.

During the release of the 2022 KCPE Examination, CS Machogu provided a summary of how candidates performed in 2022.

A total of 9, 443 scored between 400 – 500 marks.

Candidates who scored 300 – 399 were 307, 756

Candidates who scored between 200 -299 were 619, 593

Candidates who scored 100 -199 were 296 336.

Candidates who scored 001 to 099 were 724.

Candidates should send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.
