President William Samoei Ruto alongside his wife Rachel Ruto through the president's official Twitter account has shared a Christmas message of goodwill to Kenyans.

The two looked dashing as the president donned a black suit, pink shirt, and a purple checked tie while his wife Rachel wore a flowery purple dress.

In a short video clip shared on Twitter Ruto highlighted that Christmas was more than just the birth of Christ.

"Once again it's time for us to celebrate one of Christianity's central events the beginning of a life that changed the world for all time.

However, it is much more than a stranded expectant couple receiving their little baby in a boomer in a cold night in a poor village." Stated the 5th head of state.

The first lady quipped, "the humblest of places can produce everlasting greatness and desperate circumstances often are the scrussible in which History is changed.

As we celebrate the Devine gifts of our Lord, and saviour, let us also reflect on the deeper significance of His miraculous birth and the lessons in the place and timings of his birth."

Finishing off his message Ruto wished all Kenyans love and peace throughout the season.

"Let us look out for each other, give what we can to those in need, share love and spread joy.

May peace reign among all people, and may Almighty God bless you, and your family. Merry Christmas!" Finished off the president.

The president added that they would be heading to his farm in Sugoi to unwind.
