Former radio personality Sheilla Mwanyigha has refuted claims of endorsing diet pills, and green tea for weight loss.
In an update, Mwanyigha cautioned her followers not to fall prey to sites using my images with claims they helped her lose weight
“Be alert and be careful my people! I have NOT endorsed any diet pill, tea, process, or regime for weight loss.
There is NO quick fix solution I am endorsing or selling. Do NOT fall prey to sites using my images and claiming success,” she warned.
The former radio host asked her fans not to send money to anyone claiming they helped her in her weight loss journey.
“Do NOT send your money to any of these sites or numbers. Please tell a friend and Hang on to your bag. January is wow enough without being scammed or conned! 🙏🏽,” Sheila said.
Sheila is among the celebrities featured on the list of celebs who hit the Gym in 2022 and it paid off.
In August 2022, Sheila opened up about the inspiration behind her weight loss journey.
"Seeing people I knew die of Covid-19-related complications moved me. And I think one or two of them did not even know they had underlying conditions and by the time they were finding out, they were dead and buried," she said in an interview with Nation.
She went on to add;
"The second thing that gave me a wake-up call is that I am advancing in age. Not that I am an ancestor or anything but you are just thinking that already my bandwidth of coping with things is faulty and life is not necessarily getting easier. But you have to get stronger.
“How do you get stronger when the first thing you wake up n the morning is that you are tired? This was a warming bell and I realized I could not fix the problem I was having with dieting," she added.
Sheila says her whole lifestyle has changed and she now looks at life differently.
"I am not on a fitness journey because that means you reach your desired target and stop. What I am going through is a life overhaul, a holistic process that is for the rest of my life.
When you are fixing your life, it is something else. It is changing how you approach everything, and that is not easy," she said.
