At least 14 people have died after a Bus belonging to The Pwani University was involved in an accident with a matatu.
The accident happened on the the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. The happened at Kayole area in Naivasha after a suspected break failure.
Rescue operations involving police, members of the public and workers from the Naivasha fire brigade are ongoing.
Reports indicate that the bus was ferrying about 30 people, among them students and teachers.
They were headed to sports competitions when the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon.
