A woman claiming to have worked as the house help of Dj Brwonskin at the time his wife allegedly took poison has come out to narrate her side of the story.

Mariamu Vinaywa has claimed the late Sharon Njeri said several times she would kill herself.

Speaking to digital content creator Bob Shakilwa, Vinaywa said she started working for the couple in April 2022, three months before Sharon died.

Narrating her time at DJ Brownskin's house, she said the two had numerous times engaged in a fierce squabble.

She says the disagreements forced her from time to time to lock the children in a separate room to save them from the ugly confrontations that he says grew day by day such that she got used to them.

"Mara kadhaa nilikuwa nasikia bibi mwenye nyumba anasema nitajiua," she said.

This loosely translates to: "I heard the wife saying on many occasions that she will kill herself".

She however reveals that even though she heard her say so, she did not take it seriously.

"Nikajua io ni vitisho baridi kwa sababu huyu ni bwana yake na hakuna vile anaeza jiua na awache watoto wake (I knew they were cold threats as this was her husband and there was no way she was going to kill herself and leave her children)," she added.

The woman said DJ Brownskin appeared unfazed by the threats and at times he would say "sawa".

Vinaywa said Sharon mostly complained that her husband had grown disrespectful towards her.

The House help added that she never got to know what started the disagreement but was quick to blame DJ Brownskin for having a penchant for coming late home while drunk.

On the day Sharon died, Vinaywa said the arguments between her bosses began as they always did.

She only got to know something was wrong when DJ Brownskin asked her to bring milk to the living room.

Attempts by the Star to reach out to DJ Brownskin to address the issues raised by the house help were futile.

He did not pick our calls and our message was not responded to by the time of going to the press.

We commit to giving his side of the story if and when he responds.
