Beauty mogul and entrepreneur Phoina Tosha recently during her lavish garden celebratory party revealed that she would be moving away from makeup as she showed off her multi-thousand bedazzled gown.
Phoina was celebrating all the milestones she has achieved in her 10 years in the industry as well as the women and people in general who have held her hand in support through it all.
On how much her outfit cost the fashion mogul wasn't shy to let it be known that her outfit cost a little over 260 thousand shillings. Actually, it is about Sh. 267,260 if we are being exact.
"I am wearing a Kenyan brand known as African Fabrics, she is the only designer who designs me and understands the assignment fully. This is a luxurious fabric and it cost about $2000 dollars.
And that is minus the handwork and custom making of the gown, that is just the price of the material," Phoina said.
Speaking about her journey in the cosmetics world Phoina revealed that it wasn't always smooth sailing and glossy as she makes it look.
"Today is about celebrating women and celebrating my business, all my cosmetic lines, the fact that I have been in the cosmetic world for 10 years, that is a very big milestone for me.
It has been an interesting journey, there have been a few challenges here and there from the first year till now but God has been faithful and has really favoured me," an overjoyed Phoina shared.
She went on to reveal that she would be moving a little away from the makeup scene as she has a lot of things going on.
Earlier on Phoina had revealed she no longer does makeup for people unless it's close clients whom she has had for ages or well-paying bridal makeup.
For everything else, she lets her well-trained and talented team at Phoina Beauty deal with that, including walk-in clients and house calls.
"Personally I am branching out to other things but beauty will always be my baby. I have so many other businesses like a boutique that sells clothes, my beauty school, a salon that is doing quite well and lastly the cosmetic line that is just a year old and we are launching 6 more products." Shared the self-driven business mogul.
Phoina finished off by highlighting that she does not address social media rumours because that is all they are just rumours. She advised her fans and followers to learn not to give people that much power over their lives.
"I don't handle them, I don't have to handle so I don't. I don't even address them, they are rumours so let them stay what they are," Phoina said.
