Beloved Kenyan TikTok content creator popularly known as Shosh WaKinangop has sadly passed away after a short battle with illness
Her death, which comes days after she revealed she was unwell was announced by her family through her social media accounts.
This is after fans raised concerns after the elderly lady went radio silent after announcing that she was ill.
The Nyandarua-based digital content creator had spoken about her illness with her huge following asking them to worry not as she expressed optimism that she would be well and back online creating content in no time.
"My people, I have been very unwell, that is why I have not been around making content. Worry not though, I have not left. Once I recover, we will see one another, God is great through it all," said the grandma in her post.
After days on end of not hearing from her fans started getting worried and camped on her comment section asking if Shosh was doing okay.
Yesterday evening, her family shared the sad news of her passing. Through a TikTok video, they shared the elderly lady rocking her Man U jersey proudly with the caption, "Rest In Peace Shosh," followed by lots of crying emojis.
No further information was added.
The content creator who had close to 600 thousand followers (597.9 if we are being exact) was a known Manchester United die-hard fan.
In yet another video shared online, her grandson who fondly made TikTok videos with the elderly lady could be seen seated by her side while the Shosh was in a wheelchair looking frail and weak.
The moment was heart-tugging as the young man caressed her face fondly and seemingly wiped tears from the old lady's face as he whispered words of endearment to her.
TikTok users flocked to her page passing their condolences as they mourned a lady who'd brought so much joy and cheer to their lives. Most users asked the family to please share with them burial details so that they'd help in contribution as well as come pay their last respects to Shosh even though they just knew her through the screens of their gadgets.
Shosh wa Kinangop started gaining popularity as she showed her prowess in sheng after telling users that just because she was old didn't mean she wasn't in tune with the times.
