Award-winning scriptwriter and actor Abel Mutua is over the moon after his daughter Mumbus finished her class 8 examination complete with a graduation.
An elated Mutua took to his social to celebrate his daughter with a confession of how proud he is as a dad.
Mutua went down memory lane, revealing that Mumbus's mother graduated from College while in a maternity dress.
“Aaaaand it’s done!!!! So proud of you Mumbus. First one in our house to wear a graduation hat. Mama yako hapa aligraduate na dress ya maternity. So proud baby! ❤️,” Abel Mutua wrote.
Upon seeing the post, Abel’s wife Judy Nyawira wrote; “Haiya! Hivo ndio utaongea? 😂,”.
As that is not enough, Judy also used her Instagram page to celebrate Mumbus with a message that says; “We have graduated! It’s now official, mono incoming! 🥳🥳🥳,”.
Abel Mutua’s family friends and work partners Njugush and Director Phillip Karanja were not left behind –when it came to congratulating Mumbus.
Phillip Karanja wrote “Kabisaaaaa 👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥 Congratulations Mumbus, we are so proud of you 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿,”.
Njugish used the opportunity to ignite a friendly fire with Mutua, stating that Mumbus inherited everything from her mother Judy Nyawira.
“Njugush Wow Mungu hupanga mambo yake ..She got everything From Mommy...best believe. ni mapua tu ya Daddy....Aaaaw well into the Champ.....huyu sasa ni kesho aanze ati ako attacho smh,” Njuguhs wrote.

Just the other day, Mutua was teasing Njugush after his son Blessed Tugi also graduated.
On a lighter note, Mutua shared Tugi’s photos with his parents saying that he is the first person in the Kimanis family to wear a graduation gown complete with a hat.
“Aahhhh. Congratulations Tugi!!!! First in the family to wear a graduation hat. Wazazi wako waligraduate na overalls kama mafundi wa baisikeli. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,” Abel Mutua captioned Tugi’s photo.
Upon seeing Mutua’s cheeky comment, Njugush replied; “😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢Jameni situlisema tukue mature ? Sasa hizi ni zipi kadamnasi ya watu smh? Lakini wewe ata overall sijawahi ona come to think of it.....nyinyi,”.
