Controversial digital content creator and brand influencer 2mbili has apparently raised Sh. 203k and counting from online well wishers just a day after he made a post on his Instagram page asking Kenyans to fundraise Sh.7 million for him to purchase his dream car.
The YouTuber who will be turning 31 years old on the 10th of January had announced that for his birthday he only wanted the BMW X4 and needed the help of Kenyans to make his wishes come true.
Now on his page, he has made it known with screen grab evidence that a section of citizens have answered his distress call and have been sending in their contributions.
2mbili (who currently owns a BMW X3 which he acquired aa few months ago) shared a screengrab of his M-Pesa statement showcasing that one person had sent him Sh. 50 bob while 4 others had sent him Sh. 1 bob with one of them even reversing the Sh. 1 bob that they had sent.
During the time of posting 2mbili's M-Pesa balance read Sh. 150, 867 from Sh. 150, 764.
However on his stories when his friend Tony Mwirigi asked him on Insta stories at what figure he was playing at, the digital content creator made it know that he had crossed over to the Sh.200k levels.
"2mbili how much have you amassed chief? We should do a live session tomorrow at 6pm," Tony's post read.
Responding to it 2mbili simply said, "sahii tuko Sh. 203k"
Captioning his Instagram post, albeit criticism for not hiding people's personal contacts 2mbili went on to than his fans for the support as he called upon them to keep on sending him more money as well as advice him on the best car deal store in town to get the whip from.
