Award-winning singer, entrepreneur and philanthropist Esther Akothee has revealed that she dumped a billionaire so as to date her manager Nelly Oaks.
The mother of 5 also heaped praises on Nelly for always having her back despite their ups and downs and never leaving her side.
In a video shared on her social media platform, Akothee also took her time to take a good laugh at netizens for falling for an antic she and Nelly used to keep their love life a secret.
"Nelly came on board as my friend, my best friend. Then we fell in love and started dating off cameras. When we said he was my manager, we were managing you because, during that time, I was also disengaging with the rest of the engagements that I had. Nelly came into my life when I had a lot of drama," the Safari and Tours CEO said animatedly proud to have used the manager card to spend quality time with her man without bringing any suspicions to themselves.
She went on to add that she had a lot on her plate at the moment, from her 3 baby daddy's to her then rich partner that she was seeing but ultimately Nelly won her heart and swept her off the floor.

I owe my respect to him big time. I had these baby daddies on my head, and I also had a partner. So I dumped a billionaire for Nelly," Akothee narrated.
Wrapping up, she highlighted a moment when Nelly truly showed how much he cared for her which led her to truly believe he was her soulmate. Giving him his flowers, the singer declared there was no man in the universe who could top Nelly.
"In Switzerland, I snapped, and Nelly was there for me. The baby daddies showed me pepper in Europe.
There is nothing I have not seen in Europe. I do not think I can ever meet any other Nelly in my life," said the mother of 5.
Interestingly, the 2 had dated for close to 9 years before calling it quits in 2022. Akothee proceeded to meet her next husband Dennis Omosh who ended up giving her premium character development with the two divorcing just months after they tired the knot in a lavish ceremony.
