Nigerian fast rising star Bayanni who is currently a signee at Don Jazzy’s owned record label Mavin Records has revealed the reason why his teeth are discoloured as well as a near death experience he had when he was younger.

The 26-year-old who has been ruling the airwaves with his hit song  ‘Ta Ta Ta'  walked down memory lane where he narrated a story from his past that led him to have coloured teeth.

"I gave my parents a lot of trouble when I was growing up. When I was really small, when I couldn't walk, my mum left me in the kitchen. She was about to put the lantern on, so she poured the kerosene inside a small cup and then she put it beside the lantern and left to do something.

She came back and found out that the kerosene she had poured in the cup was empty because I drank everything to the last drop. She didn't even know because I was still sitting there, keeping my cool. She didn't even know because I was still sitting there, keeping my cool," narrated the artist during an appearance he had made on the Menisms Podcast.

According to Bayanni, he did not react to the yucky taste of the kerosene nor alert his mom on what he'd done. He just sat there quietly, till he began having hiccups which were accompanied by his stinky kerosene breath.

Soon as his mom noticed what had happened, she went into a full on panic mode.

"It was when she smelt my mouth that she realised, and my dad wasn't around that time so there was nobody to calm her down so she drove to the hospital like a mad person,"  added Bayanni.

Finishing up, he noted that the first hospital they went to turned him down

He went on ti dsdisclose that the the learned that the first hospital his mom visited in her frantic state actually refused to treat him because he was "too small

Detailing that workers at the unnamed institution all assumed that Bayanni would not make it. They urged his mother to "let it go because there was nothing they could do."

Luckily, the next place she went bore fruits.

"Then she took me to another hospital and the doctor was a pastor who assured her that they'd revive me and they did. But I had other issues like my teeth colouration and I've had this teeth colouration since then," said the artist.
