Budding recording and performing artist and entrepreneur Stephen Otieno Adera popularly known by his stage name, Stevo Simpleboy has revealed that he died and came back to life when he was younger.
The 'Mihadarati' crooner reckons his death and resurrection is what messed up with his brain function made him a little bit slow and affected a few of his other functions.
Stevo made the revelation while speaking to YouTube content creator Trudy Kitui after the interviewer sort to know if Stevo has always been the way we see him or if his environmental upbringing back in the day affected his mental health.
"Wanaulizanga comment section, naona watu wanauliza ata wengine wanasema 'Trudy ushawai uliza Stevo hii swali? But nasahau saa leo nimekumbuka.
Labda ile environment ulikua unaishi ukiwa mdogo ama ukigrow up iliaffect mental issue yako?" Trudy candidly asked the budding musician.

Replying to this, Stevo who had no issue opening up to the question went on to narrate how he was ill at some point in life when he was younger.
He revealed that his mom took him to the hospital but sadly he succumbed to the illness and was a gone case for a couple of minutes.
Interestingly, according to him, even if the doctors had written him off and his mom had low-key given up by God's grace he was resuscitated and was able to come back to life.
"Ok, jambo la kwanza mimi nikiwa mtoto mdogo nilikua nimegonjeka sana sana hadi nikafariki.
Hadi nkafariki by the way. Kupitia neema zake Mungu akanirejeshea uhai tena," the 'Freshi Barida' crooner narrated.
He went on to add that the doctors had tried everything in their power and capacity so it could only have been God's hand.
"Mama yangu mzazi alikua amenipeleka hospitali sasa akagive up wakasema ah ah huyu ameshaenda.
So nikadungwa mashindano, nikapatiwa madawa hazikua zinafanya kazi. Yani ile kupitia uwepo wa Mungu nkarudi back," Stevo told Trudy.
