Celebrated and multi-award winning actor Pascal Tokodi has opened a can of speculations following his "dry" happy birthday message dedicated to his wife, former TV show host, Grace Ekirapa.

The post which netizens are speculating was meant to serve as a clear message wading off rumours of their separation that have been swirling on different social media platforms since late last year seems to have done the very opposite.

Further leading people to assume things are not okay in the Tokodi camp.

In his post, Pascal who doubles as a musician as well, shared a lovely photo of his wife dressed in a black and gold cocktail dress with sheer at the top holding a mic on one hand and their little AJ, who was in a peach shimmery princess dress with the other arm.

Captioning the post, the Disconnect actor went on to heap praises on his wife for being an incredible mother adding that their daughter is the very best thing to ever happen to him.

"I knew you'd be an incredible mom Mama AJ and you keep on being one every single day, you gave me the best gift I've ever gotten and I'll be forever grateful...., thank you Mama......thank you for being such an incredible parent to our child 🙌❤️🫂Happy birthday @graceekirapa," his lovely post read.

However, some netizens were not fully convinced that the two worked their issues out and are back to being the beloved power couple. Most were quick to note it gave "baby mama" and not wife vibes as Pascal simply praised Grace's parenting skills and did not use the 3 letter words, I love you.

Reacting to the post, a Instagram user identified as Habibnty commented that the post lacked love and flare which led them to inquire if the couple was okay.

"Wish iko dry bana, kwani mliachana ya ukweli?" The netizen wrote. Responding to this Pascal asked them to learn to mind their own business further  fuelling the rumours.

"Fagia kwako nani," wrote the 'Sitaki Mwingine' singer wrote in response.
