Kenyan Hip-hop star Trevor Fortel has released his highly anticipated new single ‘Energy’ which aims at inspiring people through narrating his musical journey.
‘Energy’ which was directed by Kash Ndungu and produced by Nzau promises to captivate listeners with its themes of resilience and self-empowerment.
“With ‘Energy’, I wanted to create a track that embodies the power of resilience and self-empowerment. This song and its music video are about overcoming obstacles and reclaiming your strength to forge your own path,” Trevor said.

The music video vividly narrates Trevor’s struggle to reclaim his ‘energy’ by seizing a crown from a dependent king and forging his path.
‘Energy was released on 24th May and immediately gained a lot of viewers and subscribers.
Trevor started venturing into music back then as he was growing up in Western Kenya. He began exploring melodies and eventually embraced rapping as a member of the music group Fortel.
Trevor’s music reflects his rich life experiences, deep-rooted faith and unwavering pursuit of excellence. With his though-provoking verses, witty punchlines and memorable one-liners, Trevor’s lyrical prowess leaves a lasting impact on listeners.
Trevor is currently working on music videos for his sophomore project, “Marking Scheme II: Money Talks,” which include the tracks “Numbers, Kesho, Kazi and Energy guided by the philosophy “The Work Speaks,” Trevor aims to create music that touches the soul and stimulates the mind.
